Tire Design

Process:

  • Decide what style tire is needed for the line

  • Create computer 3D models for discussion and pick design

  • Make 3D printed prototype for review

  • Create 2D drawing

  • Pick tire casing construction

  • Test Prototypes

Production Tire

 

The Creeper tire was designed using a unique-to-BMX tread pattern. Sipes on the outer edge of the tire activate when cornering but lay flat when rolling straight to reduce rolling resistance.
